Scoring looks to be much better than anticipated....look out tomorrow & forward.

The greens are way too soft for a US Open. Hopefully they dry out and put some bite into the course.

    Soft and fast. Perfect surface for these guys. I don't remember seeing these guys back up so many shots at a US Open before.

      That was a crazy back door putt for Zach Johnson on #1,hit it pass the hole and back down the slope.
      Some pretty diabolical greens at Wing Foot,but a bunch of guys have gone under par,2 HIO's.
      Thought this was the US Open!

      TW missing a few fwy/first cut by a pace....through away a golden opportunity to be under par.....although he did make three longer putts. And hitting that wedge fat greenside on 18 didn't help. Needs to play well today to be around for the weekend!

            It's slowly getting harder...some wind now.

              Par4QC sounds like tougher conditions in the a.m. and wind letting up later (although this was reports from last night).

                Current projected cut is at +5. My guess is it gets to +6.

                Bryson's 68 may be the low round of the day.

                Hard to hit a fairway when you must swing at 96%. :-O

                    Damn, I was really thinking of picking Bryson for this one, wasn’t sure he had the short game for it, but I have to give a guy credit where it belongs, he’s getting it done.
