garyt1957 There are certainly people that can manage them efficiently. But you asked the question and so I answered. You have every right to an entirely different viewpoint or experiential perspective. The bottom line is that my experience is that iron covers indicate potential OCD, and It annoys me to observe their behavior probably as much as it annoys them to view the dirt and dings on my irons. Is either a rational annoyance? Perhaps not, but it exists anyway.
