azgreg I think I played in a b-ball league with these guys. It's why my front teeth are not real. 😁

    Yeah, I got stuck guarding Bruce Smith in the post in an intramural game my freshman year. I don't think he even noticed when I hacked him....which was good, because I an not sure I would have lived through the game had he noticed

      I got to guard Terrell Suggs in a pickup game at an LA Fitness one night. He was an easy assignment because he just signed his rookie contract and was only shooting 3's all game. He was not taking a chance at injury. Still pretty fun to tell people.

        azgreg this looks like a rougher version of what a few friends and I used to call "jungle ball". Full contact, no foul basketball.

              wishbone Back in the 70's when the Steelers were on their roll we used to do a benefit Basketball game- Steelers vs teachers. Was always a blast... I got to guard L. C. Greenwood at center - at 6'2 I was the "big man" for the teachers. Really nice man and an excellent basketball player. I always told him before game that when he wanted to drive and dunk, he was 6'9, just let me know and i'll get out of your way. That way he never hurt a knee or ankle and I never got killed. We never played to win, just raise money for a scholarship charity fund for our school. Everyone of those guys who came out to Mars were fabulous, from Greenwood, to Bradshaw, to Green.. all the guys..,Great memories.
