Wow, I had a first today. I shipped a box to Canada on 12/14 USPS Priority. I always thought tracking stopped at the border but I got updated tracking and it showed progressive tracking and finally delivery today. Wow. Who knew?

Rickochet I shipped a box to Canada

Once Canada Customs finishes their select demo program for full clubs, things move quickly after that.

Par4QC you might want to take a look at a โ€œjob siteโ€ saw. I have one, it folds down on its own set of wheels, it takes up way less space than a big table saw with 95% of the capabilities. Bosch, Dewalt etc, all have one. If you donโ€™t need something that big, then table top is fine too.

Rickochet not bad! Mine got here 2 days ago after being shipped from a few hundred miles away on the 14th.

DC300 I was looking at them also. Just something in my mind says....that's too much for what it is. I went with a slider; not as good as a table saw tough. That still gives me an excuse to get the table saw though as 'I don't have one and NEED it'. ๐Ÿ˜†

Rickochet Tracking follows worldwide. And packages move through less terminals than it does here, just going 200 miles.

sdandrea1 Yeah, I'm sure it's changed quite a bit from when I getting boxes delivered to places like Australia, in just 3 days, while it took 4 days to San Fran, having mailed both boxes the same day. I had Canada down to a 3 day delivery at the time, for any size box, same with Germany. I miss those 'good ol' days', dealing with USPS. ๐Ÿ˜€

          7 days later

Something's fishy with these guys. Shipped 14 boxes all over the U.S. on Wed.. 6 boxes are 'out for delivery' this a.m., as far away as Sacramento, CA and Sulphur Springs, LA.. A few others of the 14 are already in their local area distribution centers. Plus, shipped 1 yesterday, and it is also 'out for delivery, albeit only 100 mi. South. Plus, everything I have coming in, is always on time.

          I think I'm being targeted.

sdandrea1 Sounds like time to do some extra packing, and insure the crap out of it!!

sdandrea1 That was a good one. Take a look at Manhunt: Deadly Games, and Mindhunter. I watched those more because I have been a fan of Criminal Minds.

Going to the post office now to see how much to ship a set of shafts from Massachusetts to Carlsbad, CA.... This should be a riot...

Yup, holy shit.... cheapest to CA takes 2 fucking weeks for $21.00

North Carolina is $12 and is also 2 weeks. I might go ask UPS.

Yes, $12 shipped is no longer a thing.

Typhoon Why you waste time? USPS website can tell you all you need to know about weights/costs.

I've got a box of clubs going to upper NY, 7#, cost is around $19. Not that bad, imo. Anything to CA is high as hell now. 3# was almost $16 from here.

Mattyv Yeah, I just did a 2nd check for the day and saw that. I also just now seen 2 others that got delivered that wasn't showing 'out for delivery' this a.m.. WA was 1 of them....2 days. The 2 down in LA are very surprising; always took 3-4 days before Covid.
This is getting out of hand. ๐Ÿ˜†

Dufferman Like I said prior, I've had no issues getting packages here, and VG has been one of them the past couple days. I was surprised to see it that day.

I donโ€™t have a scale to weigh it on. Maybe Iโ€™ll try the website now that I know what it costs and see if I can do if I knew the weight.

I guess I could stand on the bath scale, weigh myself and then do it again holding the box...
