USPS sucks
My ligicalone putter is supposed to deliver today. It was mailed out before Christmas. USPS must have taken it out for a few rounds before deciding to deliver it.
I have package sitting in DC since Christmas Day going to Charlottesville VA-- what, 2.5 hours away. Grrrrrr.
Par4QC problem 1, you went to Lowe’s. I’m not seeing seeing a lot of inventory issues around here in the way of tools.
Building materials are insane right now, hurricanes combined with a home renovation craze, in conjunction with manufacturing facilities being limited due to Covid, is leading to a huge price hike.
My own lovely USPS story, I bought a club here from a member who sent me tracking info, the club has been somewhere in Alabama since Dec 18th, since being shipped in the 14th.
DC300 They have the bigger table saws, not what I need right now. I'm looking for the portable, smaller type. They only have a couple brands in store, and online for order. They also have a lot of others shown, but 'not available in store or online'. Same with the sliding compound miter saws. But, I did notice a couple of the saws in that 'not available' listing, that I've never seen before, so I think they are coming out with new lines and the old lines are selling out/being eliminated. Which may be a good thing.

Mattyv Problem is, I got a 20% off deal til 1/31, plus, a gift card for quite a bit on top of that. So, I am almost looking at a free saw, if they get it in before 1/31. I could go with the nice big table saw, but I already have 1 that I can't get to, at my brother's shop. plus, no room in the garage for it.
Still waiting on Adams irons I bought Christmas Eve....shipped 12/26 from about 140 miles away. Should have
offered to meet the seller halfway!!
sdandrea1 That's just wrong! What does the tracking say?
"In Transit....Arriving Late". Last estimate was Dec. 30th. I'm sure it's stuck in Detroit, which is/has been all backed up due to Covid and the Christmas shipping rush. Local Congressmen have even complained (due to constituents bitching to them, I'm sure), but so far it hasn't done any good. Good thing it's winter and I don't have an urgent need for them!
fatshot I just had a package delivered up there. It went through Detroit, then Pontiac. If that wasn't enough to scare me, then it was when it went through Aurora, IL dist. center. Delivered in 7 days, with a holiday and a weekend involved. Lucky me.
All the boxes I sent the past week were delivered in 3-5 days, all over the country.
You must be living right!! I've had TWO packages delivered to me in the last month....one from Steve that took 21 days, and this one that's on NINE days and counting!!
