I have the HOF Black Diamond stiff at the same length for the Ping as well and it’s good but feels nothing like the Paderson. The kick gives me goosebumps.

i might go on FB marketplace of something and see if I can swap out something for another one and maybe go to 46”

While I have not played the shaft, your experience is similar to what others have told me. Supposed to be a great line of shafts.

colej Darn, I know each company measures torque differently, but 5.5! That shaft must feel real smooth.

Yes so smooooth it’s amazing. I can swing smooth and hard and it carries forever.

Today I took it out on the course. I hit every green in regulation. Hit it fairly straight with a little draw. Never got me in trouble but I was swinging well. I definitely want to hit one at a little shorter length.

I played 18 and went out for another 9 with some members that I’ve wanted to play with because they se like a great group. Always nice to play with someone new... First hole drive went a little left and they didn’t really watch it from where their carts were. I’m walking up the left rough and they say, “you didn’t find yours?” I said, “no, I didn’t get to it yet.” Silence.

Next driver hole was funny. I hit next to last. Guy hitting last says, “ Holy Fuck” while the guy near him says,” did it come down yet?”
Everything is crazy high and long. The ballflight is what makes them go nuts. I have no idea the spin and launch numbers...I really don’t care... this thing it so much fun to hit.

Hit it again at the range today. I really can’t believe how stable this shaft is. I’ve never enjoyed hitting a shaft that much on my life. I have another one to cut an inch off of to use as a “playing length driver “at 46.5 but I hit it so straight at full length... I don’t want to do it yet. It’s much better than the HOF Black Diamond at 46”... and that’s more than playable.

This Velocity shaft is nuts. I had a 3 people come up to me on the range to ask me what I was hitting. 2 of them came and asked if they could watch.

It works great in my G400max... wonder how it’d be in an Epic Flash?

Perfect Ho speach. And that is why we are active members of this forum. 🤣

If that shaft can hold up to Kyle Berkshires swing speed and load, it can hold up to anyone’s. check out the end of swing.

colej Yeah, but John is probably using stiff flex. Kyle's looks like, maybe, Sr. flex. 🤣

Whats weird is I heard Kyle uses a Senior flex... I can’t figure out how you would keep spin down. I would LOVE to try that in senior flex.

i tries to post a screenshot from my iPhone video but the site here comes up “error “

              colej

I heard that as well. How can that be though? Especially when Paderson is serious on not tipping the shafts.

You have a senior flex one I can try?

                Typhoon

no I don’t stock anything. The D30+ is “stiff” shaft. I wouldn’t think you should go down in flex at all.

I read that article in the magazine. We do sprints in the gym and if we don’t I make sure I stay later and do them. It’s funny that it was in the article
