Technology has caught up with me. Or maybe I've caught up with technology. No, I have the stuff. I just get stubborn using the old stuff.

Last year I dumped my Ping eye 2 irons for Ping Ie-1 and it's like holy shit good.

I recently thought I'd try the old vs339 shaft in my G30 lst. Worked great for me in the SMT 455....loved it in that.

Not so much now. The newer White tie and my HOF Patriot blow it away.

Old school us just that now.

Vs339x is for sale.... DC300 where are u?!

Old school did not change, your physical condition have changed.

Me too, Have some iron sets which I loved. Still love them, just can't hit anything longer than 4 iron after the injury.

      Typhoon

I'm right here! Not really in need in need if a shaft, but I'm listening haha.

        Release

What's funny is I'm in better shape and swing faster that I did 10 years ago. Launch was fine, spin too much.

Newer shafts launch higher and spin less for me.

End result was more distance. Same dispersion. I took the tip off it and put it back on a HOF I had it on before.

Seems the sweet spot weight is mid 60's.

        DC300

Its playing to the same length as the Ping tour shafts. I think it has a one inch plastic extension in it....$30?

For $50 I'll throw in a HOF Sadlowski stiff. Low launching and spinning shaft.

Sorry for the late reply, sounds like a solid deal, but in going to pass for now, I just don't have the tinkering time of days passed.

I can still knock my old school technology Cobra Long Tom driver, way farther than say new stuff like the TM M-1.
        Plus it looks cooler! IMO

I had a Long Tom for a while. Hit it at a demo day and killed it...I thought. Year or so later I bought one cheap. Great looking club, glad you can hit it....I really wanted it to work for me.

If I put anything behind it it would just balloon. Ended up trading it in.
