Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Yard sales are always a PITA but this one was pretty organized with plenty of signs etc.
We just don't get the traffic or re-sellers like we had in So Cal.
I did hang a sign on the fence along the 18th fairway, and some young dude golfing, jumped out his cart
gave me $45. for an old Epic 3wd!👍

Grandson's scout troop spent 4 hours finishing up the lot cleaning at our house. Fed them doughnuts and then pizza and a nice donation to their troop fund. 4 months ago, we couldn't see the river at all from the back yard.

I live mid block and there are no trees to the West of me, on my side, to end of block. These winds have been Westerly, so my yard has stayed fairly clear of leaves this Fall. The neighbor to the East does have a tree that hangs over my drive/yard, but it has been windwhipped & is now clear.
The neighbor just across from me does about 8 bags/week. He has a wife that is a yard Gestapo though.

Typhoon I had 1 yard sale, never again. I’ll throw all the shit out first. I was selling a baby gate for $5, nothing wrong with it, looked like new ( how beat up does a baby gate get🙄). Guy comes up and offers me $3. I told him no. $3…. Wtf… people are pricks.

People just like to dicker. You should have priced it at $7 and he would have offered you $5 for it. We did one or two. The fun dwindled quickly. For many years we have just given shit away.

The wife was always wanting to have a yard sale. I'd put it to her as....how much will you make if everything would sell?
Set up, wait 2-3 days, tear down/put away what's not sold....figure the time vs. $$.

Goodwill around the corner has liked my way of thinking through the years. 😄

Whenever we've had yard sales we mark the stuff down cheap. We've been complimented saying how cheap our stuff was. The goal is to get rid of it. Don't want to lug the stuff back in.

Nope. Navy pays flat fee. 2 hrs, 10 hrs, same $. Other agencies pay me by the hour with a contracted 4hr minimum.

I am offered cases by the Navy Contractor (I'm a sub-contractor). I can take them or turn them down but I don't get to pick from "list". The parties do not get input, however the conveners (local admin that sets up the sessions) and agency attorneys have been known to request me. They are not aware of settlement performance on any particular mediator. The Navy Mediation program management knows all the stats, but local conveners and attorneys do not.

Tried something new. Yesterday I wrote out the schedule I want to follow because I just haven’t been getting to the gym. Today was day one and it worked. Longer day though but without golf it’s fine. Came home, ordered irons from TM for a friend.

I have been putting it off for days but I finally decided to reset the clock on the electric range today. It usually takes many times fiddle fucking with it to get it set. The pictures in the manual was actually for another model and I downloaded the correct one. I got the cheat sheet out and set it on the very first attempt. 😜
