Been on a bit of a golf and craft beer journey the last 2.5 days. Took a half day Wednesday and closed down Lawsonia Links. Love that place, my favorite course, hands down! Awesome layout with plenty of elevation change, open off the tee but position is still important as the big majestic greens are perched with tiering. I hit two shots that were worth nothing but I won't bore with details as you have to have played the course to understand. Pulled off probably a better phrase🙃. Headed to the Dells to play Wild Rock the following morning as I had a ticket to use. My 2nd favorite course[upl-image-preview , not sure the oic will do any justice, but #6 is worth a pic from the back tees,👇

18 very good holes and loads of fun. Ended up deciding to stay another night and jumped over to Trappers Turn after WR as I have a cart fee ticket to use up and played the Arbor and Lake 9s, a very good golf course co-deaigned by Andy North. Didn't run into a soul all day, although I was first off at WR, I expected there to be some people at TT as it was nice out. The second night stay was due to deciding to play Portage GC this morning only about 30 mins from the Dells. This is a course I played for the first time last year and I loved it. Some memorable holes out there. Original 9 is old and they added on and those holes are also very good with some dog legs, sweepers and a little elevation change to boot. Ended up at Quit Qui Oc in Elkhart Lake to play the Glacial 9 to finish off the festivities. EL is where Road America is hosted. The golf course is awesome with an 18 hole course (original 9 very old, 9 added to complete the 18 and the Glacial 9 added last). Super piece of property for golf with elevation change and rocky/sandy soil that drains well. IMO a must play if in the area. The original 9 is very unique with loads of character! Currently at 3 sheep's enjoying👇
