Walterjn Went to my little course today to help out with some bunker work. Apparently we are putting in a new bunker on the right side of #6 green. They had this much done by the time I showed up. We don't have much in the way of fancy equipment. We do have an idea as to how to use what we have to accomplish what we want. We got sand in, more than we needed for this one. We ended up pulling the excess sand, and distributed it into 3 small bunkers. We put in enough sand to have about 4" throughout the bunker.

[deleted] LBlack14 You can't change it. In about 2 more generations society will be unrecognizable. The outfit that owns the company I work for has bought into it. The want me to attend DEI seminars and all the brass has their preferred pronouns after their name. Some companies like HD, Tractor Supply....maybe Lowes are issuing anti DEI statements about their hiring practices. I listened to one of the supervisors trying to explain to someone from Sudan why if he called out it would be an unexcused absence. I'm so glad that I plan to go in 4-1/2 years.

darpar Had a covid and flu vax yesterday, one shot in each arm. Only the covid jabbed arm feels somewhat painful.

Par4QC Typhoon Got mine Monday and was knocked to hell for about 36 hours after. And big bruise on arm. Neither happened with others, so figure maybe it's the new stuff. Plus, it's been a year since my last. I did play golf Wed. with no problems.

johnnydoom Work. Watching it rain again most of the day. Getting ready to go up to the school and watch my daughter receive a recognition. Hang out for the football game where she'll be recognized again on the football field with her parents proudly standing with her. Maybe hang out for the whole game or maybe not depending on whether or not the weather lets up. Her band performance has been cancelled yet again due to the wet and muddy conditions.
Typhoon Got some weird hip or hip flexor pain going on. Started a few days ago. I take Aleve in the morning and it’s ok but today I did a lot of bending and pulling pallets and it hurts to sit in the car. Tough getting out of it too. Came home and had to cut the lawn🙄. That felt pissa riding the tractor. I’ll be curing up with a heating pad later
sdandrea1 Playing in an oldies rock review show tonight at our former geezer 'hood. Different musicians than my geezer band (actually much better). This community is loaded with talent and the residents get a bunch of free shows and the players have a ball. Win-win! Been rehearsing this set for 2 months.
