Typhoon
Sorry to hear about Charger. We still miss Tiger terribly. Especially knowing we most likely hastened his death. He had a cancerous tumor on his chin. It was ulcerated and bleeding.
He could not have anesthesia for regular surgery because he had stage 2 kidney disease and his kidneys couldn’t handle that.
The Vet who is board certified In dermatology recommended laser surgery. They could just use very light sedation. We agreed and they ended up doing cryosurgery (liquid nitrogen).
Long story short he stopped eating and drinking because his kidneys began to shut down. We even tried a nasal feeding tube. He died less than two weeks later.
If we had done nothing he’d still be with us. But some Vets seem to be interested in ringing the cash register. Seems every time we try to go the extra mile for our pets it backfires.
