johnnydoom Those trees/shrubs would be fully grown if in this area. Had several hours of rain again last night. This morning the crabgrass is all nicely spread out and fully lush/green again. And the white clover that has suddenly appeared only adds to my delight.

Par4QC I've found clover to be one weed that is relatively easy to kill. It still pops back in now and again, but it seems like even the weak off-the-shelf herbicides are effective on it and all of the broadleafs. The grasses, especially crab grass - not so much. I need to learn to put preventer down in late winter, but my mind is never on the yard in February.

Looks like another vet trip tomorrow. Charger has arthritis in his left front leg. He’s on meds and he’s fine. Today it’s like he took nothing. Limping wicked bad. See how he is tomorrow…. But I see a trip. $300+ Everytime…. Everyday something costs me $300. Good thing I work 24/7

Labor Day weekend starting early this year.......Daughter's coming up from Columbus, and we're all going to
Bowling Green St. University's opening football game tonight. Our granddaughter's a freshman and in the marching band, and we're all pretty excited !!!

Doc visit this AM. He's unhappy with my Calcium CT scan. Score was 672 in the Lower Anterior Descending artery (aka Widowmaker). I'm asymptomatic, but family history and cholesterol levels (currently on 40mg Rosuvistatin), make he high risk to drop dead any minute now. Starting on Zetia today, carotids ultrasound soon, no more bacon. Ugh.

What a week it has been. Had a colonoscopy on Monday so this past Sunday was prep day and no fun. Worked from home on Tuesday for a little recovery and started getting a bit of a runny nose. Still had it yesterday and then had some stomach issues. I thought it might have been prep related. Nope, tested positive for COVID yesterday. Feeling a bit better today but still not right. This has been a shitty week so far.😁

The insurance companies still consider it experimental. I had to pay out of pocket $179. No dye was used in my scan.
