Played golf again yesterday and it's starting to come around a bit. I'm hitting the ball more solidly but really not scoring much better yet. We'll be heading back to Minnesota late next week. There are lots of Minnesota people down here. The Texas people call us Winter Texans. I called for a tee time as a solo but they said they'd pair me up with some other golfers. Fine with me. We got to the first tee and I sked my two fellow golfers where they were from and both said, Minnesota. I said, "me too" and we laughed. We played 5 holes and a single golfer caught us so we invited him to play with us. We introduce ourselves and asked where he was from. He said north of Denver but after we told him we were from Minnesota he said he moved to Colorado from Minnesota in the past few years. A guy I met from Nebraska said half of Minnesota is down here for the winter was right it seems.
