Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

sdandrea1 it was full from when the sun came up until 710 pm. Don’t know why anyone goes out that late…. They get 30-45 minutes of daylight. But I’ve seen the twilight people. No drive carts….. they just go out there, dragging a bag, hugging a bag, carrying it like a log on their shoulder, just sitting out there on benches drinking. God knows if or when they come in. I only get paid for sending them out. Didn’t have one single opening all day. That’s what you get when it’s dirt cheap.

(really pushing it...)7 min. intervals.....4somes.....28 players per hour.
Some/several/a lot may have tee times, but they will never get to play 1 hole before dark.
He's stated several times it takes 5-6 hrs./round.

🤔That would mean over 11,000 could play every month. Not possible. Our best course here that is always full set a record of 50,000 rounds last season. Mar-Oct!!

Par4QC 10 minute Tee times and we also start people on the back 9. It ends up as less than 10 minutes because they fire away as soon as people get out of range… or near out of range. Summer weekends we do over 400 and weekdays are over 300 a day easy. I’ll take a picture for you of the totals on the tee sheet.

Based on 28 per hour going out for hours 6 AM to 6 PM that’s 336 people. But people might be going out earlier and as I said, tee times after 7 pm. Also we start people off on the back and front depending on the time. All that contributes to a stupid amount of people.

And I did say people were walking off the course because it was so slow. I couldn’t get out…. And even the head pro said “you don’t want to be out there.” They just jam them out there…. And they keep … coming…..and coming…….

Cold, wet and rainy. PTO day. Gonna go see my mother. She'll be 90 on the 23rd and still, totally, self-sufficient. Still drives & lives in the same house, I grew up in, since 1966.

LBlack14 Although my parents live in a townhouse on my course they are 88 and 93, and like your mother, still drives and does everything for the most part still.

My mother will be 103 in couple of months. Still lives on her own in the one level "old people's condo" my parents moved into 30 years ago. Knees and hips starting to fail but her mind is still as sharp as it always has been. Fortunately, no driving for her. When she was 96, year after my father passed, she mentioned she might quit driving. By Friday I sold her car so she couldn't change her mind...

Couple of accounts, have to go rob a bank so I can get gas🙄, head to a TM fitting afternoon. Supposed to rain this afternoon but they’ll still show up in a downpour🙄

Looks like weather for fittings will be better today. Doing the day job for a few hours then heading to Weston CC for demos. Nice place, good people there. Yesterday was not a good fitting day…. Windy and rain. And nobody wears rain gear. Had a kid in a dress shirt soaked to the skin, no hat, water just running off his head and face, shirt stuck to him. Another guy comes up in shorts and a golf shirt…. Drenched.

Well 2 hours before today’s demo they tell me they don’t need me as a second fitter today. Forgot to tell me yesterday. But they need me for tomorrow. I told them no. Tired of everyday my day gets messed up trying to make others happy. Can’t play this afternoon because I took it off from the pro shop for TM…. Showing up to play would be a dick move. Decided to do tomorrow’s work today instead. Later on I’ll trim the yard, walk Spike and maybe put up the bird feeder pole

Today, I hauled 2 horses down to Burbank for a horse show. I'll be heading back to pick them up on Sunday. Seeing how i got to leave the barn about 12:30ish, I sat in traffic both ways. Fortunately im fairly comfortable dragging a trailer around in traffic, and without horses, im able to be a little bit more aggressive when I change lanes.

Conference call this morning, gym, maybe 9 holes, cut the lawn before it rains and clean out the garage refrigerator that died after 20 something years. I have a glass front Pepsi cooler to move the drinks into.

At work. Just heard about layoffs yesterday that I wasn’t privy to.😔 Just work and hanging around the house planned for the day.

johnnydoom Are u in danger of the layoff? How is the severance, if there is any.

Typhoon Not in danger at the moment. Was told the action was completed yesterday. Historically the severance has been a fairly decent percentage of annual salary, don’t know what it was this time yet.

Oil change done on the CR-V. Nap time now😃. Going to try to watch the Fever game at noon. No idea what after that.

I like not working at the golf course on the weekends! Yesterday I did all the trimming back and front yesterday after grass cutting. Took a chance on not being able to walk today but woke up fine.

Took Spike for a walk in the drizzle.
Drained the gas out of the snowblower, poured in some seafoam and let it run through until it stalled out from being empty and shut the fuel.
Took a chance and got Jesse’s old dirtbike running. Don’t know if I started it last year. I was suprised it started so quickly. Only thing is I have to keep it at 50% choke and work the throttle or it dies. It has a newer carb but it needs me to keep running it. I’ll grab a new spark plug for it at some point and change the oil. I was just happy it ran. I’m keeping it out so I don’t forget about it.

Got a lot done by noon!

Typhoon sounds like a mixture issue, or a vacuum leak. Carb probably needs new mounting gasket, and tuning.

Walterjn I’m going to keep running it and hope the seafoam straightens it out. If not I’ll look at taking the carb out and cleaning the jets.
