Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Mowed the whole yard. Been doing front 1 day then back the next. Must have been the coffee😄.
Then Jake and a friend pulled up with a full set of clubs for regripping. Did them later on. Left handed, so hopefully they are on straight enough.
Just got settled in the basement when Jake texts and wanted me to meet up at GG, for a driver testing. Ran over there, dissected what we were seeing, and he finally bought the Quantum TD.

Full/fun day for ol' Rex. He needs more like this one.👍😉

Just got home from second catarac surgery.
MRI on my other shoulder and follow up for today's surgery tomorrow.

MRI report says full thickness tear on left shoulder. I'm now officially screwed. Right shoulder far from being usable. In other news, I happen to mention Grape Nuts the other day. My wife (53 years) went for groceries today and came home with this:

We're in Columbus for 10 days "baby-sitting" our two teen-aged granddaughters while their parents go
on a trip to Hawaii. Not sure how we'll like living with two teenagers, but at least I'l get to meet up with
my oldest son and grandson (who also live in the area) for a round of golf next week.....Maybe a trip to
Maltby's Golfworks in Newark as well.....!!

I'm glad I've never been in a store that sold Maltby components AND had the samples out on display. When I walk into a Guitar Center store, I realize I want every guitar I see but it's not financially possible. In a Maltby store, I'd probably do something impulsively stupid.

They have plenty of demo clubs to hit and a nice range (and a nice day today!) to do it on......Almost wish I didn't like my new Dynacraft irons so well, b/c I'll probably get excited about a Maltby something-or-other that I've GOT to have, LOL.....!!

Working from home. Need to mow the lawn although maybe wait for Sunday.

I need to look at dishwasher as it died last night. I think the drain pump is either clogged or just not working as I hear humming but nothing is happening. I must have replaced the pump 3 times on our last dishwasher to make it last 10 years. Not sure how to access this one so will be on YT soon!

Try to at least hit some balls in the net later as I have a 2-man match play tournament tomorrow. Don't want to be negative but we got stuck in a flight we have no shot in without strokes. We lucked out last year just sneaking into higher HC flight and won so I guess this is evening things out. Weird we are either the worst team 6th in a flight by a significant margin or 1st or 2nd. Never been in 3 thru 5 slot ever in 9 years.

Mowed the lawn, including the lower lot by the river. Stairs are almost complete. That trip up and down that hill is going to be much easier.

Maybe going to look for a new dishwasher. Seems the part I need is $300 😱 No way I'm paying $300 just for a part for 4-5 year old dishwasher. I used to fix the previous one all the time but the parts were like $25-$30....except the last failed part was like $300 so I bought this one. I did find a part that's supposed to fit for only $40 but the picture doesn't look quite the same.

That really sucks bananas! I’ve been absolutely amazed that the GE dishwasher that was installed in my house has kept working for 30 years. We only use it about twice a week, but I never would have expected to still have it.

Took a friend to the airport. SWMBO decided to tag along so she could peruse the offerings at Hobby Lobby that is not near us. Fortunately, Golf Galaxy is across the road. Checking things out I discovered that they are really proud of their used stuff - prices are outrageous - $500 for a used driver; $250 for a used hybrid??? WOW...And to top it off, they don't even bother to clean them up, and one looked like it had been drug behind tractor on a gravel road, though it was only $225 - lazy, lazy, lazy. The "fitting" bays were filled with people ready and willing to part with $650 for the new driver while the "fitter" was probably "adjusting" the computer to show some great numbers on the product with the highest commission...Went to look at the clothing - another WOW - Having been in the clothing business for a American Made Manufacturer for 25 years I was shocked...$80 for a golf shirt made in Bumfuk, Malaysia??? No wonder Adidas and Nike can pay those enormous sponsorship deals. Cost of material, labor and overhead might be as high as $4 a shirt...Initially went to get some grips I needed for the grands Logicalone irons I just finished instead of ordering from Amazon...Surprise, they had 3 JumboMax grips in stock and not the model I wanted and at $3 above Amazons price....placed an Amazon order on my phone while looking at putters...Now back to your regular programming, rant over...
