Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Well, got a late start. Crawled out of bed about 20 minutes ago. I got a call last night that a horse wasn't feeling well and needed to go to the vet, that was easy. I stuck around just so I could help keep him calm, and provide any information that I might have about him to the vet. That way they don't have to call anyone, and wake people up. I stuck around untill he was put into a stall for the rest of the night, then I went home. Got home about 2, woke up at 6 didn't feel well so I went back to bed. Going to go check on the horse on my way to the barn....

Barely, Charger helped with the poop, he ate some of it🙄. Just got through with emptying upstairs for tomorrow’s demolition. I feel bad for the dogs, they don’t know what is going on. That wall you see near the vacuum will be gonzo

🍿oboy.....gonna see this on HGTV next week. Can't wait til the hidden plumbing shows up inside the wall, and the floor is rotted beneath it. Not to mention all electrical needing to be re-routed.
Make sure they use sledgehammers. They NEED to; I see it on TV, any/every reno. Must have, or the job is by hacks!!

Shouldn't take more than 3 weeks. Or 7 months. 😅

The contractor lives across the street… I can only picture this as “Elden” from Murphy Brown🙄. I want To use the sledgehammer ! I’ll try to update with pics…

I went up on the attic and pulled my speaker and cable wire up there. I have outdoor speakers. My wife keeps asking me how do they do this, how do they do that…. like I fuxkon know😁

BTW, have you checked with the supply houses to make sure all the replacement stuff for your reno is available? My neighbors did a kitchen reno about 6 months ago and had to wait months after ripping everything out due to shortages and shipping delays.

Typhoon well, I learned that he didn't make it. I got that information before I even made it near the vet... I ended up having to take a horse to Newbury Park for shoes. Made it home just about 30 minutes ago.

I don’t think that’s correct on those Tire sensors. I’m glad you left there. They do have batteries in the sensors, which will go bad, but those sensors should be constantly communicating with the car (the light being on shouldn’t drain the batteries).

There should be a box that plugs into the car and tells them exactly which sensor is bad. Anyways glad you got outta there!

colej Yeah… not a bright bunch working at a tire place. The sensor they originally changed when they did the tires was not working. I went back and he used the scan tool and it showed it not working but the other 3 were. I made an appointment to fix it, 2 days later the light comes back on. Probably a month has gone by and now he scans it and says the new one works but the other 3 are dead.🙄

I’ll swing by my regular mechanic and see if he can scan them.

Wow sounds like you’re all very lucky he’s still on earth. The really great thing is he’s moved close enough to where you’ll get to see him often 😃

colej Yes, very lucky. I t was a pretty shitty time. Found out a week before Christmas. We were lucky that nothing ever went wrong with his counts, we didn't panic over small things so we were able to stay out of the hospital unless it was a scheduled visit. One of the first kids to go through a double stem cell replacement which was a huge life saver. Not many kids survived this one.

My oldest son is moving back to St. Louis from southern Missouri on March 1st. He wants to buy a house so I went with him today to look at three. It was supposed to be four but one was withdrawn from the market. I think he may make an offer on one of them. We'll see what happens.

Typhoon so am I. He was a sweet horse, we didn't always get along he and I however he was a sweet horse.
Bright side, the vet was a pleasure to deal with. Didn't mind me trying to help, and she had a good sense of humor. We were cracking jokes from time to time when I was there, and I was told that I need to show up when she's on night call all weekend...
Hoping I can run into her tomorrow when I have to go pick up another horse at the same place...

Rickochet 😅 You don't watch too many of those reno shows on TV, do you? 1st thing you do is rip everything out/apart, and as the contractor's 'team' is working, you THEN go to order what you want. Every show. Every day.
And they all got sledgehammers. 😩

Rickochet Yes, we ordered all the appliances already, small appliance store near us so it’s all good for that. This was supposed to happen a few months ago but the contractor waited to have everything before he started… so that was good.

Par4QC And you are guaranteed to find a hidden duct or load bearing wall that will derail your project and cost you thousands of dollars more and time. 😖
