No shopping for me but golf_ghirl (that's not her in the photo) took delivery of one of these last week, in this colour. Due to delays in her order the supplier upgraded her to a (can be made) road legal version with a 36 hole battery, and a detachable 2 bag back rack, no extra cost.
Persistent health issues mean she can't walk 18 holes without suffering 2-3 days afterwards, and that reduces her playing time. She also has a bestie who had a heart attck last year but is allowed back to golf provided she doesn't over exert. No doubt the two of them will be disappearing up the steeper hills on our courses leaving me to play catch up.
It'll pay for itself pretty quickly as buggy hire is Ā£20 for members at our place and will probably rise next year. Got the idea from an older member who turned up in one of these a while back, he has serious knee problems. Now he's retired he turns up for an early round, stops for lunch and a beer, and does another 18 in the afternoon.
