Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Changed the oil on SWMBO'S 2009 Mini Cooper convertible. Car is 12 years old with 33K miles. 5th oil change! Every time I do the job, I smile when I remember the drain plug is an allen-head. I want to hug that design engineer.

I have the right size allen wrench......perfect fit. The plug uses a soft copper washer so you just tighten enough to squash the washer a bit.

I ended up with a rare day off because of the rain. I work 7 days a week and have not had a day off at home since last February. I can’t believe how good I felt and got sooo much done. I even did the adapter swap on that shaft I’ve been meaning to o for 4 weeks.

Worked out, called unemployment
Changed LinkedIn profile to what my wife wants it to say
Applied for a couple jobs
Wrapped up the golf bags and shaft for Papa D
Went to the Paper store with Nick and DIL, then Panera
Picked up the wife and we all went to the Farmers Market in town
Took off a shaft adapter and put on a new one.
Played with Lemmy and Vinny

@Bravopilot nailed it. We moved the car to Florida in 2015 with 25k miles on it and now it sits here for 6 months/year and then just gets local use while we're here. My Highlander has 127k miles after 6 years.

I took my wife's 2012 Highlander in for new tires today which has 29,000 miles on it. They were the originals with lots of tread still on them but the ride was getting iffy and I decided it was time for new ones.

I just put new tires on the Lexus… they wore perfect… and still we’re fine but they were the original tires from 2007. My mechanic told me I really had to change them. He said they are just unsafe being so old. He said he gets emails all the time from tire companies reminding him to let customers know about that.

Rickochet tires have a lifespan of about 6 years. After that, they become more of a liability.

48*, windy, raining since last night. Not a damn thing going on today, but sitting on my ass watching the neighbor's leaves cover my yard, for the 4th time this Fall. 🤬

Might go to garage and finish cutting a huge batch of shaft clamps though. Weather permitting....as it is. 😏

Same here except ever so slightly warmer. Been raining since 7:00 last night and is supposed to continue off and on through tomorrow. Got plenty of work to do in between breaks to look at GolfBuzz occasionally.
