johnnydoom If that battery would not jump through, or take a charge, did you check the alternator?
Unless the battery is 'out of date', or close to it, I always check the alternator for possibly being the cause of failure. It can kill a new battery real fast. Just sayin'. 😉
You can check the alternator at home. Disconnect both battery cables after starting the vehicle. If it keeps running, you are good to go. If it dies, well......$$$.
