Yesterday was just a busy day, dog walks and clearing out golf_ghirl's car. PCP contract is up and since it's only done 13k miles it's a waste of money, so our regular mechanic is taking it off our hands for the PCP settlement + a few k to work a deposit for #2 son; his PCP is up about now as well but he can't stick to mileage limits so mehanic is having that one too, once he tracks down another car for #2 son - probably an Audi A3 salooon, Black edition, 1.4/1.5 turbo. He really wants an S3 but at 20 years old the insurance will kill him, a couple of years more and his no claims discount might get into something faster.
I did manage to get out for 12 holes, solo, then home to watch football and golf. That PGA playoff ... by the time it was finished I was too tire to log into GB!
Today was more straightforward, take golf_ghirl's car away, lunch then a dog walk. TV sport and another dog walk and I'm bushed - temps pushing high 20's, way too hot for my liking. I understand some of you might welcome that; I really don't know how I'd fare in the temps you're suffering.
