Fixed door catch to our bedroom. When I go downstairs in the morning, the dog goes upstairs (or stays there if he's slept in our bedroom), and gets himself nice and cosy on MY side of the bed. I reckon that's where I'm getting my ticks from - 3 in 3 weeks - so he's now barred from the bedroom.
Had to open doors and windows in our conservatory to let the heat out, and removed a butane gas bottle from the winter heater that lives out there. Conservatory is useless - too cold in winter, too cold in summer - but it was attached to the house when we bought it. Looking to replace roof glass with ... something ... to reduce the heat build up and might look at putting in a radiator or two (water boiler has enough capacity).
Costco shopping with a drop in to my mother's, collecting some jump leads (because I can't find my battery charger anywhere ...). Home to fix #2 son's #2 car - tyre pressures, dead battery. Got it jump started and took it for a 15 minute drive to recharge the battery, hopefully it'll be OK and not a bad alternator.
Dinner, dog walk around the golf course.
So yeah ... bank holiday and I didn't get to sit down much, making up for yesterday. And every day's a bank holiday anyway.
