Golf this morning with a friend who had heart surgery back in October. Wasn't his first comeback game but it's the first time he tackled "Heart Attack Hill" and, with a couple of precautionary pauses, he managed it just fine. I played that one like an absolute beginner ... think I was half scared of him keeling over part way up 🤣
We did cut a couple of holes towards the end of the round but 16 holes completed, his fitness levels are coming back and he's doing OK. Needs to do as we've signed up for this http://www.golfinscotlandchampionstour.co.uk/ playing at West Linton, Lanark, Stirling and Gleneagles Queen's Course later this year.
Dog walk, dinner, TV, dog walk with golf_ghirl for company. She needed the fresh air and a break from her computer, her boss has a heart valve issue and has been hospitalised for a week now, just waiting on an op date (with a 3 month recovery) and she's having to cover his workload as well as her own.
