Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

I had the double door slider and I hated that heavy sumbich. It was always coming off of the track and was hard to put back on. It was a beyotch to clean which also required removing. Plus I had to duck under the upper rail to get in and out of the tub which was becoming more hazardous as I got older. The last time I renowed the bathroom I took that sumbitch off and threw it away and replaced it with a rod and curtain. The tub rail cleaned up fine and I found some matching screw hole plugs to hide where the rail screws were. I think I have seen some newer sliders on HGTV that have rollers on the top like a barn door that are easier to hang the doors on instead of inside of a "C" channel like mine was.

Good luck finding them. My Publix store has an empty shelf with a sign that says:

" Grape Nuts may be in short supply due to production issues"

Eguller Maybe with lumber in short supply, trees are becoming scarce and beavers are using these now. Less work, what with the way they swell.

WalMart USED to have Nutty Nuggets. Identical to Grape Nuts. Guess what......can't be found. It's an edible-gravel conspiracy!

Got the glass out of the tub after work today. Used my cheap ass bucket top shopvac. Also had to take off the 2nd door because the c-channel was full of glass. I was shitting a couple of bricks during that process. Couldn't get all the glass out of the channel so I also had to pull off the top rail. What a pain in the ass. To make it worse I kept banging the cuts on my hands while doing this. Got it put back together so the kids will have half a shower door until I can figure out a permanent solution. What a nightmare.

LOL! If you're a Grape Nuts addict, you can get past the name. 😄
I bought a box a while back and found them to be virtually identical to Grape Nuts. Post Cereal probably sells them to Wal-Mart, repackaged.

I mentioned that above in my post about renovating my bathroom. I went from brass to nickel and got a nice ornamental nickel shower rod and the wife picked out a nice shower curtain and liner. The rod is about a foot higher than the brass door channel was and is much easier (safer) to get my geezer arse in the shower. I also added a nice looking nickel vertical safety grab handle to hold when getting in and out.
