Typhoon I laugh. I tell my wife about the people I see living on the East coast and complaining about high taxes, etc.. I tell her if they would sell that house and move here, they would be shocked to find they could pay cash for a house, with just their equity from the sale. But, they would also be shocked to take a 40% pay cut, most likely. VERY different, East coast to Midwest. But, supply/demand......the more you make, the more they take, for everything. Your job at the course would do well to pay $12/hr. here, if it pays that much. My main course was wanting help this summer @$8.25/hr. + free golf. A round with cart is $28.
