CallMeAl Grocery shopping, Christmas shopping, new sensors for the garage door and wings for dinner. Now watching Masters highlights while enjoying a glass of Suntory Hibiki .... Maybe I'll get lucky too !
Mattyv Played 18 today. Finally cool temps and on a traditional style course. I broke out the push cart and had a nice long walk today. My game was inconsistent as hell. I had 3 birdies and 3 triples. I took out the Geek No Brainer for the 2nd time and was hitting some serious bombs. Iron play and putting was all over the place. Made a couple of 20 footers and missed a few 3 footers. Ended up shooting an 89 on a course I should shoot low 80's on. Had a great time and really enjoyed walking the course.
sdandrea1 Typhoon You playing after the Masters? Won’t it be dark? A little “night putting” maybe? Coverage ends at 3 (assuming no playoff). Gets dark at 5:30. We can get around our 9 hole executive course in an 90 minutes and it's just across the street
Weirfan Course is empty today, a bit breezy but its golf weather so will go over and do 9 in an hour. Masters and coffee now, some more chores. Tape the later coverage and watch tonight....been recording Sunday and watching at night since the 80's
LogicalOne So I ran out a Kraken and had to do a 20% mixture of Kirkland.....not bad! I’m pretty sure I just came up with a formula that is much better than Kirkland...more to come! 😂
Mattyv LogicalOne Please share. I am too cheap to throw out my half bottle and also can't stand the taste.😁
Weirfan Weirfan great day for golf, lots of shrapnel from a huge wind storm last night. Maintenance had greens cleared and cut but we were 2nd off so ahead if the clean u0 crews tending to the downed trees and branches.
fatshot My yearly appointment with my financial advisor to go over my accounts this afternoon. After that I'll probably be shopping for a new Corvette or a vacation home.....decisions...decisions....!! 🤣 🤣
Typhoon Turned out to be a little warmer than I thought but still not gonna bother getting my Candyass bundled up to play. Ain’t that important to me. looks like after last nights wind and rain storm all the leaves are down. Wind isn’t affecting my back yard so I might go out and mow to suck up the leaves. I’ll get probably 80% of them. Picking up Spike around 2:30 after his dental cleaning.

I got mine out to the curb twice in the last couple of weeks, and the city picked them up. Luckily, I inherited (from my late father-in-law) a leaf sweeper that I pull behind my lawn tractor. After yesterday's high winds (30-40 mph at times!) there's not a leaf in sight!!!
Rickochet fatshot I got mine out to the curb twice in the last couple of weeks, and the city picked them up. Luckily, I inherited (from my late father-in-law) a leaf sweeper that I pull behind my lawn tractor. After yesterday's high winds (30-40 mph at times!) there's not a leaf in sight!!! I blow most of my leaves out in the yard them mulch them up with my mower. There are some areas that are a PITA to try to blow out so I bought a small hand held electric Toro blower/vacuum/mulcher yesterday to do the hard places. I blows the mulched leaves into a shoulder mounted bag with then gets dumped into the trash,
sdandrea1 Played 18 with SIL and grandson. It's fun watching a guy with 112 mph swing speed hit the ball (SIL). He's on my team tomorrow for my Tuesday league. Hope he's as straight as he was today! 11 yo grandson shot 103 today on a track he's never seen. Kid has a beautiful draw. Needs to learn the short game.
sdandrea1 Rickochet Very pretty but any gators there? Oddly, no. We've never seen one in 8 years. It is a managed manatee sanctuary. The state watches it very closely. That day we were there is the last day that area pictured is open for entry. The manatee swim in from the gulf and breed in that spring-fed pool between 15 Nov and 15 March.
