Off since Thursday, don't have to work until Tuesday. Been doing some traveling and chasing the white ball around. Spring Valley CC and Brightondale Links yesterday, followed by one of my favorite taprooms....two 12 oz pours of the Perennial Artisan Ales Abraxas, excellent.
Today 27 at Old Hickory, followed by a chocolate malt at Crystal Creek Dairy as recommended.by @scotts33 .... It was good. Grabbed some grub and headed down to Tyranena Brewery. They have ~ 6 bourbon barrel aged beers + a few anniversary beers aged on bb. Trying to be good. @scotts33 up for Ubering me homeš¤¤. You aren't too farš¤£. Anyways I'm going half pours now!
Re SVCC....it's a Langford/Mareau design, same guys who did Lawsonia my favorite course. It has many of the same features.but much smaller greens, which are sloped with some swales and perched. Fantastic design, but it's a borderline total shithole as far as the condition (less the greens which are good). Dunno how how I feel about that but it's so much fun to play the conditions don't bother me much. Wish I lived closer.
Old Hickory on the other hand is always in very good condition. Some of the best par 4,s on one course that I've ever played. $18 to walk SVCC and $19+tax to walk OH. Bang for the buck my two favorites. Ok going for another š³
