Well, I went out yesterday to see about checking the brakes on my baby, pulled the 6 ton bottle jack out and discovered that it no longer works. No idea who made it. No idea if it can be rebuilt easily. So I started looking for a full replacement for it. Wasn't finding much that I'm willing to trust. Most look cheap, cheesy, and way to small for the abuse I'll put it through.
I did find this one, though.

They don't have a 6 ton, so I'm looking at the 8 ton. I don't care for the idea of going smaller than what i already have been using, so a little more lifting capacity is a good thing. I really don't need anything bigger than that. I do have a 20 ton I got from my grandfather's tool collection just before he passed. That one is a heavy pig, and I'll be breaking it out and making sure it works so I have something incase I need to change a tire.
It does leak down last I checked, so it's not the best option, however it should still work and can lift my truck. I'll make sure that it does its job, before I put it in the side box.
Maybe I can talk to these guys to help me find the seals for my 20 ton jack .
