Typhoon instead of ripping out our tiles backsplash we bought stuff at Homedepot that is plastic but looks like tin to do backsplashes. Used some loctite glue and it came out great. You’d think it was tin.
Thanks for the info. I am looking for options. I put up a temp plywood panel the same height as the new hood over the drywall hole to keep out dust while I cut out the brick and it is a good 2 1/2" above the old wall paper line. I am thinking just putting a wood trim piece in if I can get the stain close (as in close enough to suit my wife). And will be looking for some back splash options.
