Mattyv Thought you were young and cataracts were for us old dudes. I have the beginning of cataracts in 1 eye and was told nothing to do or be concerned about.

My cataract was created by the implanted contact lens I had installed 8 years earlier. It rubbed on my natural lens and created a cataract. The implanted lens surgery was almost exactly the same procedure.

I was told this during my routine eye exam about 4-6 years ago. My eye doctor just said he'd correct for it with my lens prescription, but it would gradually get to the point where he couldn't correct any more, and then it would be time for surgery. We finally reached that point. I could tell last summer that it was getting worse b/c I couldn't pick up the golf ball anytime I would pull or hook it way left (left eye was the worse of the two).. So I wasn't surprised when I had my last eye exam last fall when he told me it was time to have the surgery.....

fatshot Went to an Optometrist in Las Palomas Merico last Dec (not far from Las Cruces and very popular for eye and dental work--very small town) and he noticed it. One of the best eye exams I've had by an Optometrist sadly.

I can't tell since I have 1 bad eye from a nail. 2 small spots.

Been working on adding a few more coats of clear to the shelves of my bookcase, finished making a picture frame and clearing that.
Otherwise, I have been trying to stay warm. It's been a high of 47°, we have gotten just a few sprinkles. One of the "mountain" passes got snow today. It sits at just over 2000' elevation.

Cold day today, had more freezing rain overnight. Heading out to work, then lunch with my gym buddies from my last gym. After that I’ll stop at the country club for a few beers. Trying to stay away from the golf store😁

Good luck. I had one taken out of the middle of my forehead a few years ago. The procedure was not big deal but the four injections I got to numb the area was the worst I have ever gotten and felt like hornets from hell.

We received about 8" of snow over the past 2 evenings and cold temps. I took today off as a 2023 vacation day. I filled out a job application online and cleaned up the snow. My snowblower auger belt flew off yesterday so last night I had to split the machine to get the belt back on and started the snow moving then.
