Had some snow overnight so I’m not going in, we don’t have too. Best thing about pussification… 👍

Not much snow but I went on the deck and it’s back breaking because it’s so wet. Everyone’s snowblowers are clogging. This could be an all day project.

I went for my bloodwork today, the first time under Medicare. Among the tests was a PSA test. Apparently the Doctor coded it wrong and they said Medicare wouldn't cover it and it would cost $148. So I passed on that so I could contact my Doctor. So I'll have to go back and get more blood drawn.

I looked on my insurance claim from last year (when I was still covered under regular insurance) and the lab billed $135 and it was discounted to $13. It's ridiculous that people without insurance have to pay so much more. If the had only charged me $20 or so I probably would have just paid it to avoid having to go back.

LBlack14 shit, Wednesday morning when I finally got on the road with 4 horses, I discovered that it was 3°...

Today, after I got done hauling horses, I got to work on my beastie. I figured that due to the freezing cold that I probably had ice in the air lines from the compressor to the tank for my air ride. So I pulled the line and found it was plugged pretty solid. I dumped alcohol in to it and got most of the ice out of it, and got my air bags aired up. I also pulled out my spare compressor and pulled the same line off it so if need be I can swap lines and get the ice out when I have a chance. I think I might have to figure out some sort of insulation or a water/moisture removal right off the compressor. Something tells me that I'm going to be making more than a few runs up here in the next year, and probably more than that next year.
Damn good thing I'm bat shit crazy about this lady, well good for her; maybe not so much for me 🤣.

I didn't think about taking a pic until after I'd gotten most of the windshield cleaned off.
I've never had to deal with cleaning snow off my beautiful beastie. I was told it wasn't supposed to snow for the rest of the week... This was from the 1 night I was gone.

Today was a liberation day of sorts. My wife decided she prefers the Keurig coffee over drip coffee and so now I'm free to choose whatever coffee I make (she insisted on Folgers). Bought a can of Kirkland Columbian. I'm not going to lie and say it taste better than buying the whole beans and grinding them fresh to make espresso (I do that too on a frequent basis), but for busy days at work the Kirkland is a very smooth alternative. So far, nothing else planned for the day. Pretty sure a trip to the grocery store or Costco and cleaning out the hedgehog cage are on the list of possibilities.

CallMeAl What did you go with for countertops? We are discussing a kitchen cabinet refinishing and replacing countertops. We have rounded edge lamininate and at 16 years old with a kid they are showing their age.

6" of snow from Thursday night into Friday afternoon dealt with. There is more coming Sunday night and I think Wednesday. We are balls deep into winter.

Had to bail from my planned ice fishing morning but the boys apparently did well, over 40 perch by 2 of them in 2 hrs. Hoping maybe a smelly care package gets dropped off 😉
