Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Mrs. Fatshot bought me one of these a few years ago. I soak it the night before, then
put it in a plastic bag in the fridge overnight. I try to wait until the turn, then take it out and wipe face, neck, etc.
Use it every hole on the back nine. Pretty refreshing on a hot day!

I've got one as well. Like the knucklehead that I am, I left it in VA. They're lifesavers. The good news here is, we can park in the shade a lot while playing.

Walterjn Played stupidly well. Other than my opening tee ball, off the bottom of the toe, 130 yards along the ground😔. I deemed that a “breakfast ball”. I laughed to myself as I went into the bag for another ball thinking, “ it’s be funny if I just packed it in and left.” Next one was much better. Hit every green in regulation, closed out the round with birdies on 14.15.16.17 and 18. Ended up -8. I was surprised. Maybe low expectations are the way to go.

What is her hobby besides being abusive to you? Lol I can’t imagine if she were really good at something how’d she react if you criticized her for enjoying her activity / sport.

Say she was a great singer or painter and you bitched that she sang or painted. Makes no sense.🙄 You are in a very small percentage of golfers who can actually play golf at a high level.

And yet you seldom play. That’s a crime in itself. Lol

Sneakylong She knows but doesn’t really care so I don’t say anything. She thinks it’s automatic and you don’t need to practice. I might have proved the the theory the other day🙄. But yeah, I think about it all the time if she had a hobby could I give her crap for doing it… especially if she was good at it? No, can’t imagine giving her crap. Now if I was going out everyday, sucked at it and used it as an excuse to be out with my friends yucking it up everyday, I could see her being pissed.

I work there because it’s less than a mile away, the golf school is there as well, the members are great as are the people working there. The other stuff drives me nuts. They know how I play but whatever. I’ll do more TM stuff next year

sdandrea1 Over 90 with oppressive humidity today. We got 2 foursomes around in 3 hours. I drank several quarts of water/Gatorade mix and carried a towel with me for every shot. Dry my forehead, dry my hands, hit the shot......

I liked to carry refreezeable ice pack strips in a small cooler full of ice. Lay a bandana on the seat and wrap it up then tie it around your neck. I takes your core temp down immediately. It lasts two or three holes then change to a new ice pack.

Work. Went to Costco on lunch break and got some Top Sirloin, lamb chops, grass fed beef patties, and a beef brisket flat. Place didn't have any golf stuff in it at all this trip. Going out tonight to buy the boy a more portable amp for his guitar so he can take it back to school with him in a few weeks.

I showed up this morning and started watering the arena for the boss, boss had asked me how I was doing. I told her I felt like dog shit, I didn't get enough sleep last night as I had to check on a sick horse last night at 11...
She figured that I was at home, not at the barn watering the arena. She sent me home about 10:30. I've been home taking it easy and resting.
I feel a little better every day. It'll be nice when I get back to 95%....

Walterjn You need to take a couple days off and just get some rest. You’re always at it like me. Shit wears you down and if you get sick, it takes forever to get feeling right.

Typhoon I'm working on it... Boss is heading to Menlo Park tomorrow morning with one. She and her kid are heading there for a short show that starts on Monday. Looks like I'll get something resembling a day off tomorrow, maybe Tuesday. Monday I'm going to have to get more cubes...
