So different when you see the 12, but then look at the matches/pairings. Euro's look every bit as good IMO. It'll be within a point or two going into singles!

JIMENGAZ1 changed the title to Ryder Cup 2016. US up 4-0 .

How about a spoiler alert next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ie:

No summary in the title!

#$%*

Some of us are taping this and would like to enjoy seeing how it all unfolds w/o knowing the result. Not anymore.

Crap..............

You are correct, this is a golf forum. However, you and Weirfan, have been here / FGI long enough to know this has been discussed many times and is a matter of common courtesy. Ever seen anyone post spoiler in their thread title and the reason behind it?
I'll save you the typing to respond:
    "yes"
    You are welcome.
This is not The Golf Channel, ESPN, my cell phone news, radio or TV station, all of which I avoided.
I came here merely to respond only to a thread I started about the loss of my dad, a WW2 vet, and say thanks to those who responded with sincerity and compassion.
I guess since this is a golf forum there was no reason for me to start that personal thread as it is not golf related.
    I learn something new everyday.

    Thank you.
Mcavoy's thread is an an example of this commonly accepted, preferred and endorsed practice by members.

You didn't miss anything. Thanks for your Ryder Cup Spoiler thread.

I know this place starting to "grow",but why two R-Cup threads?

And I agree, you don't put results in the title!

        mcavoy

        Ooooops, sorry.
You rank high in my book anyway.

Thanks Pa-Playa for the Ryder Cup Spoiler titled thread.

No worries, buddy. For the most part I agree - I don't even check my phone text messages if I'm not watching whatever big sporting event is going on live... I don't want my buddies spoiling things. I DVR just about everything, just to avoid the endless commercials, but I also recognize that many of my friends don't.

I do put the spoiler alert out there just to be safe, but I've never personally gotten upset at somebody for posting potential spoilers. I understand that the world is just a wee bit bigger than the space I occupy. πŸ˜‰

Lol...next to impossible to get away with not hearing a score
....was in the clubhouse before going out for my 2nd 18 today around 11 a.m. and turned away from the TV, plugged my ears and got out quick after signing the bill.

          I don't see a 5-3 topic, looks like we learned our lessonπŸ™‚. For nowπŸ˜‰

Ha ha I knew somebody would be mad when I saw that title.

No question that the score should not show up in the thread title and 'spoiler' or 'spoiler alert' should. Commonly accepted practice and just common courtesy in the age of the DVR.
