Guess what the latest pain is (last 3 weeks) I'm experiencing, for the 1st time, that rates above all the chronic shit and is right up there with a toothache, even an abscess??? Go ahead, guess.🙄😁

could it be issue with carpel tunnel? Mine sort of started in my thumbs then moved over to my pointer and middle finger.

I had to have my thumb joint replace/repaired with a tendon from my forearm most likely as
a result of hitting way too many balls, competing & training when I was involved in Senior fLD competition.

Symptoms sound the same. I use to hit balls until the hand went numb and pain went away. Was fun though...

It's referred pain from a nerve that's being irritated somewhere else (wrist?). If there was muscle or ligament injury in the thumb soft tissue then it would hurt when you involve that muscle. Think carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. X Ray could help, but an orthopedic dude can figure it out. That's my guess.
