  • WTB: FOUND ONE! CLOSE. NIKE STR8-Fit Driver Adapter

Jeez, did Nike have a new adapter type for each driver produced? I have a Nike adapter but God knows what it’ll fit. Looks like the Flex loft one though.

Typhoon Covert on. I have one here as well. They made the one Larry needs for the VRS, which I believe came after the Machspeed series.

BackNine29 did you still need one? I have it. And it is still called the Str8fit, its just not the same one that went into the square heads.

Only problem is mine comes with a VR-S head as well.

BackNine29 changed the title to WTB: FOUND ONE! CLOSE. NIKE STR8-Fit Driver Adapter .

I don’t see the PM. But, I won’t be home until May. If you still want it in May, let me know and I’ll be glad to help you out.

Hi, I’m I’m the UK. I have the Nike Sq DYMO 2 10.5 degree driver. It has the UST AXIV Core Regular flex shaft in it. I am 82 so I wish to change the shaft for a A flex or Senior shaft. I have the Senior shaft but can’t find the Str8-Fit adapter anywhere on the internet.
Bought an adapter on eBay but it was the one for the MAChSpeed driver and the splines are not the same so it’s of no use.
Can you or anyone help please ?
        Many thanks

Brivel To the best of my memory, the Dymo and Dymo2 were fixed hosels, no adapter. If there's an adapter, it's probably from a fit cart. Can you please post some pictures?

Walterjn why not just pull the adapter and re-shaft?? That would seem to be the easiest...

Not everyone does their own work.

Brivel I sold mine to @HansMutchek earlier this year. There were some spares in there, but he might want them all for himself.

You can pull the adapter if you want. I know this guy real well. Bear in mind this was made before adapters were so well known. This was one of the first how to pull an adapter videos on Youtube.

DonM I've pulled a shitload of those, but that ferrule thing was anything, but soft plastic. It was the hardest thing to get off. I couldn't save one.

The ferrule is angled instead of square on the bottom. I made some replacements by sanding the same angle onto regular ferrules. Then I made a marker line on the adapter as a reference mark for the setting in the head.

            Memories…. I had a NIKE Sq, had a 5900, had a Dymo, had a Machspeed2. Also had a covert and a covert 2.0.
