I'll start. Vertex AW on SK Fiber TT75R shaft. Cleveland Launcher HB 5W on UST 55 Gold R shaft.

can you anchor the legs of the bench to the concrete? Angle iron cut to 1” lengths could be easily attached to the legs of the bench and then anchored to the floor? Or I’m sure Home Depot or Lowe’s would have some kind of bracket made up for decking applications.

colej Yeah, that seems very do-able. You are right, there are various construction tie pieces that would work. Even simple angle pieces would do it.

I found a whole set of graphite iron shafts (Cobra Fly-Z) that I had stuffed in a box with 3 'like-new'
Lamkin grips on them! The second time that's happened in the last year (I need to clean up my workshot
more often!!). I blew the grips off.....now I may have to order a set of heads to build something!!! 😁 😁

I hit the 37" Pinhawk 25 degree 5H a couple-three times on the course today. It appears to fly about as high as my 38", 31 degree 6 iron, but the distance of a 5 iron. So that's pretty good.

Decided to kill time by building a few clubs from cast-offs I had laying around. Here is one I may actually try to play as a not-quite-thriver but hopefully a fairway finder. Old school 11* Snake Eyes Aermet CMF Non-conforming head on a Snake Eyes/UST Proforce XTD shaft in R. I wanted to build it at 43.5", but even at 44" had to add a little over 8 grams to the head (5 gram tip pin and 3+ grams lead tape).

Building a lightweight driver. Got an Integra 175 offset, Integra Soooooo Long shaft and a Winn lightweight grip. Parts came today. Head weighs 180, shaft is 41, grip is 21. That's 242 plus some epoxy and a ferrule, so it should be sub-250g. Can it compete with the XXIO Prime? Testing on Tuesday.

How long did you build it? When they're that light, I'd be tempted to build it between 46 and 47 inches to
maximize distance potential ala Bernie Baymiller (of course, I'm 6'6"!).

What shaft flex and how long is the club?

Orlimar SL irons, Miyazaki Kaula shafts. Heads were used, shafts and grips new. Total investment just under $110.

Never going to replace my Maltby TS1s, but at least I'll have something to pull out and go play with at the range for a couple of weeks every time Bryson wins.

Sparky Great looking set!! My current set of irons only cost me about $65 bucks! Found a set of senior graphite shafts I had forgotten I had, had plenty of grips, so bought a set of Acer heads from Hireko, and I've been playing them ever since. I just located another set of shafts, so my next "El Cheapo" set will be some Dynacraft Prophets later this summer.....PS. Nice looking workshop too....WAY neater than mine!!
