I'll start. Vertex AW on SK Fiber TT75R shaft. Cleveland Launcher HB 5W on UST 55 Gold R shaft.

Putting an adapter on a guys driver shaft. So a week ago I did one for a guy that comes to our place and I know well. I’d consider him a friend… I pulled the head , cleaned everything up and put an adapter on the shaft for his TM driver. I gave it to him and he said thanks…. Freebie I guess.

Now this one…. I bet this guy, also a friend …. Freebie. I think I’m done after this one.

I only do work for my own clubs, my son and grandson and one friend who comes with needed parts and some cash up front for my time. Aside from that I'm "retired" and don't do club work anymore, no exceptions...

This one shaft I pulled the Callaway adapter off and there was a 3” “rod” of epoxy inside the shaft from the tip up.🙄. What really sucks is as soon as I start to drill it out or whatever to get it out, it goes up into the shaft and you have to remove the grip to get it out…. Or do what I did, made the hole at the top of the grip bigger and it came out that way. But… 3”!!!! Did Callaway fill the adapter with epoxy and then put the shaft in???!

I've found almost all of them like that, every OEM brand that I've had/pulled.

I picked up some old dental pics of various sizes at my routine dental cleaning and they work
well to 'pull' the old epoxy plug out. Just make sure you do it quickly after removal when the
shaft has some 'warmth' to it or use the heat gun carefully. you may still have to use a slim
drill bit slowly to grind it up versus pushing it up the shaft. Good luck. 🙄

Typhoon 'Ramrod', homemade...............metal coat hanger straightened out. As soon as the head/adapter is off the shaft, ram it down inside. Make take a couple times to knock it out.
Wait too long, and you will have to drill it & you may push it further up. If so, then jam the rod in again and it will lodge the plug again...drill again. Repeat if necessary. Never a need to damage the grip this way.

I have a piece of steel dowel about 4' long. Ramrod it through the grip hole down the shaft while the epoxy is still hot.

4mm ram rod, if it's stuck leave the ram rod in and drill.
