Walterjn that's the after! It was black & rust before. Haven't done paint fill yet. Shaft epoxy is setting as we speak.

AdamMH that blue is gorgeous. I had to ask if that was before, because I love that torched coloring.

Walterjn probably my favourite finishing technique - a nicely polished & torched head looks fantastic outdoors!

backinit you can own butterfly knives in Ca I've owned one for 30 years. You just can't carry them. This thing is about 5" overall. It can live in my bag, it's more like a butterfly knife comb that some cheap stores used to sell.

I recently built my SIL a Geek No Brainer on an Accuflex Assassin in stiff. He's a dangerous scramble team member now. Good gawd it's fun to watch him bomb it.

Walterjn I know most of the auto CA compliance auto knives have a less than 2" blade, just from what I see at sites like tackknives.com, not sure about the rest.

backinit I think that is to be able to carry them. I saw that butterfly divot tool a while ago, and I wanted one they were always listed as sold out. I went back and they were listed as pre-order so I ordered one. Then I got to thinking about the butterfly knife I have and that I have no info on it. I started looking around online again and found that reddit has places just for those. I started asking about mine with pics, and found that it is kinda a grail among collectors. Now, I'm looking at wanting to pick up another...

Walterjn a butterfly divot tool with a torched finished... That's hot. I'd ask where you got it but odds are good I'm too cheap to order one 🤣

Today I built the the 6 iron of my steel shaft STi set. That used up the last DGSL shaft I had and it completed the set.

              7 days later

Back in the spring I bought a Snake Eyes Quick Strike II hybrid head from @"DonM". It takes a .335 shaft rather than a .370. It's been a great club for me b/c the wood shaft gets the ball higher in the air so it comes down and stops on the green.

Fast forward to this week.....I found a Maltby STi 24* hybrid that I had tried and abandoned b/c it didn't get the height I was hoping for. So, the other day I reshafted it with a .350 senior flex wood shaft that I had laying around (had to shim it a bit for a snug fit). I just took it out and hit two balls out into the field behind my house.....WO-HOO!
Two solid hits and great higher trajectory!! Can't wait until Tuesday's round to dial in the distance and see where
              it fits in the bag.....!!

This is the advantage I'm getting from L flex shafts. Higher flight with softer landings. Tom Wishon knows his stuff as is evidenced by his Golfsmith and namesake designs.

                  Who knew....right?? 😜

fatshot I have all 3 of those.... 18,21,24. Using Tensei Blue hybrid shafts in A flex. After 2+ seasons, and having tried other hybrids along the way, I don't know how they could ever be replaced.

                    Par4QC I have all 3 of those.

Which ones - the Snake Eyes or the STi ? 🤔

                      What's that like?
