Spuzz Purple Ice.

Wow! Haven’t heard that one in a while!…” Sherman, set the way back machine for 1999”

Great shaft, low kick point got the ball up.

    Spuzz Purple Ice.

I loved that shaft! Had 85 in a 5 wood and 75 in a driver that I should have pulled and kept.

TheBlade Hand sanded, then did gentle wire wheel and polished with a sisal wheel.
Finally got this down to a nice brass finish.

Nice job! How many hours do you estimate you spent on this? I have an old Carbite putter that I like, but it's
beat up and needs some TLC. Trying to decide whether I have the skills, or if I should just send it to Continental
Golf and pay $60 plus shipping....

      KCee Had 85 in a 5 wood

My Only Friend had one in his white White Lightening, tried it, then mounted it on the wall in his shop.
      Too pretty to hit.
      LOL

Spuzz funny, I just checked the bay a couple days ago to see if one of those was kicking. They're a bit more than I want to pay.
If I didn't have a plan for the ASD PF85s in the closet, that'd be a nice combo too..

Got those PF-85 shafts installed into some Royal Collection fairway heads. Same deal as Sonartec, just the ones from Japan.

Also 3D printed a shaft extension. We'll see how that turns out.

AdamMH Also 3D printed a shaft extension

I've 3D printed many shaft extentions. You need to make them rather thick walled and taper the tickness were the extender goes from ID to OD for them not to break .

Luc_Van_Daele Interesting, I did make it relatively thick but no taper. I left it sticking out a little and let the epoxy form a fillet between the end of the shaft and the change in diameter of the print. Guess I'll find out soon enough!

The change in diameter is a stress point, so putting a taper inside the extender at that point strengtens that weak point.

          Another driver.
Snake Eyes 953T, 9*, 206gr. on a Penley Tour Light S/flex @47". Going to get a few more rounds in it looks like, so going to have some fun. I hope.

AdamMH Feels great to me, here in the basement. My other drivers are similar. Probably around E4, E5 or so. I pay no attention to numbers, only 'feel', as long flex feels good & finished weight is around 320; this is 321. I normally use A flex. Should be great fun.👍

Par4QC fair point, I think the first driver I ever built played at a similar SW. 455DB w/ uncut Evo at 47". It never felt too heavy to swing.

AdamMH It never felt too heavy to swing.

I'm just surprised I can still do this. Club is taller than me 🤣 and almost same weight. But, I get nothing from shorter/lighter, longer/lighter.
