sdandrea1 It is aluminum. I had a shop do the welding on this, and 1 other. Bad job, the other may be junk, this one took a lot of grinding/cleaning up. So, my choice is either find another shop, or buy a welder. I can weld; just didn't want to get all that involved with more equipment that takes up what's left of garage space.
There is also the thought of a 'bolt together' frame, floating around the brain area. 😉
