ode I am a huge sound guy. The deader the better for me. That could be why the Geek FS2 may be my favorite head of all time. Though it makes more sense to add the melt before I assemble, it would be really cool
to see how much 10 grams of hot melt would deaden the sound.

colej thanks for the reminder. I saw that online, but I don’t think I would have heated the tip long enough.

Keep in mind where the hotmelt is situated inside the head. To deaden the sound more, shake the head
just after the hotmelt is added to speed it out evenly. Obviously, if you want to heal weight for draw bias, or toe for fade, do that.

Has anyone checked to see if that adapter works in a Callaway head and vice versa? Also maybe google the Callaway adapter settings and compare it to the chart posted earlier.

Whats funny is more options is more confusing.

Taki27 cotton balls/yarn could work too......wouldn't add too much weight considering there's not a lot of room in a fwy head.....maybe ~ 5g or so.

If you want the 5w let me know.....I have no use for it. Yours for the cost of shipping.

Back to the Maltby TC Driver. I do love the idea that I can place the shaft in the head in the orientation I like. I like to put logos down on the shaft and add lead tape, but don't like looking at it.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to make the woods with the adapters?

Nat I have a demo of the TC driver head. If anyone wants to try it send me an email.

Generous offer. I wonder if we could do a demo tree like we use to do on FGI ? Keep it for a week
and then pass it on. Cost involved, but maybe shipping and an extra adapter sleeve. Just a thought.
Sounds like there are several of us who would like to try it before buying. Thoughts ?

          I might be interested.....what's the set up/shaft ?

            ode I might be interested.....what's the set up/shaft ?

I'll wait for Nat to respond , but I thought it was just the TC head. ?

Eguller oh, ok.....that would be ideal if each person demo, ing could pull their shaft and send head/adapter on to the next guy!

Awesome idea guys and thanks to Nat for offering up the head - can't wait to hear the results. I'm very curious to see if you guys get similar results to Popeye on golfwrx/mygolfspy. My only beef with the head is that it is on the light side and since I play my driver close to 210 grams, just means a lot of lead tape when I eventually get one!

              • ode replied to this.

shokosugi you should be able to get to 206g with a 14g screw....little less lead tape that way. I wish they had two weight ports as the head could go ~ 192g up to 212g.....not the end of the world, but I hear ya as I was getting pretty crazy with my drivers last year ~ 215-218g.....goal to get down under 210g this year, 205-210g. Played last night ~ 208g and so far so good!

I will be sending the head and adaptor to Dan (Eguller). Contact him for next, and set up a chain after that. Please cc me on who has it so I can keep track
For the record, this was lent to me by golfworks. I DID NOT put the sky mark on it 🙂
                  enjoy

ps.i also have a TS1 6 iron head if anyone want to try that. Same deal. Email me at nrobin321@gmail.com
