There is a place in Orlando called the Butcher Block steak house. Many years ago when I was Sales Manager at Stan Thompson I took some customers and salesmen to dinner there. The steaks are about $40.00 up BUT their gimmick was if you cook it yourself they take $5.00 or so off the price of the steak. (They had 2 large open wood fired grills). Anyway, one of my salesmen talked me into cooking my own steak and I thought it would be fun so I joined him. After sweating like a pig and burning my hand a few times over the open flames the steak was done. I go back to the table to join the group and someone says, "Steve what's wrong with your tie?". I look down and imust have let my tie hit the grill or flames. BOTTOMLINE: I saved $5.00 on the steak to ruin a $60.00 tie!! Nice, huh?
