Actually, it’s getting many solid reviews.

Anyone actually use the product or build something similar?

Made my own!
Didn't want to wait 2 months and pay $162.....twice the price that
it originally cost when it first came out.
And YES,it's probably one of the best training aids ever designed!

I made one as well. Cheap tool belt and 24” exercise band. I didn’t try to replicate the sliding bar. I’m liking it but mostly using in the basement. How about you?

Made mine from an old PC360 belt,an aluminum rod and a piece of acetal to attach to the club.

Only on protocol 3,but can already feel the effects of how it forces you to sync up your body and arms/club.
If you take the club to far inside on the takeaway (which I tend to do),the band will have some slack.
Also helps with shallowing the club on the D/S.
If you flip, you'll feel the band rub against your trail hand and loose tension.
The weirdest part is that after doing 30-40 reps with this T/A,when I pick up a club it feels like the head is attached
to a magnet for the first few swings.

    darpar

what did you use to attach it to the club.

I machined mine out of some 1" Acetal which is much stronger than the molded plastic that
is used on the Planemate from T/S.
Seems that is the weak point as a few users have reportedly broken that part.
I just drilled a 3/8" hole and a 1/2" hole then cut the two holes in half.
Then used a 1/4-20 thumb screw to lock it to the shaft, also masking tape wrapped
around the shaft avoids any slippage.

      3 months later

I just started hearing about it’s popularity. I guess they were sold out everywhere recently. I friend of mine got one on Craigslist for $50, never used it, sold it on FB marketplace to a guy overseas who “had to have it for it kids birthday” for $350.

We just got one at our indoor place. I’ll try it out tomorrow night, should be cool to feel what being in the right positions feels like. I know my swing has a few “compensations.”

Watch the protocols. Especially #5. Understand and do what this means: Resist, Resist, Relax, Rotate.

      This is a keeper
