Orlimar1 Or the famous "never disassemble a poon laden club."

I swear by that having done it multiple times. The poon meister speaks the truth.

Another quote is, "Mo loft, mo poon."

Release Already felt halfway like home.......

Not until Spuzz calls someone a dillhole. 😉

Release I thought he did , already . Or something similar to that .

    nope.

    dillhole is a sweet nuthin'
nobody over here has motivated me to use it...yet.

I use other salty words for some (one) people.
Maybe that's what you are referring to.
    😉

Anyone else see "FGI >> GolfBuzz" and think "FGI much greater than GolfBuzz"?

jrock - show the new incarnation some respect! 🙂

Looks like the end finally came... RIP FGI, long live GolfBuzz

      Spuzz

You fag. What have you done with FGI....it's gone!!

Though they do have an eerie slideshow of posted goodbyes from members.....much like you'd see on a funeral home's website for deceased people; creepy. I didn't turn on the sound as I suspect Boris Karloff, or the likes, to be narrating!!

The new FGI admin assclowns spent more time on the slide show than they spent on the forum since it was migrated from the old data base. I still don't understand why they even picked the old forum up.

Too bad, so sad!!! FGI is now gone.

I guess my Arnie post pissed them off enough to shut it down....

          Well bummer!

But on to bigger and better things hopefully here at GolfBuzz.com!!!!!!!!!

Rickochet Yea. I still don't believe they wouldn't let it go. I asked a couple of times, was told no. I even offered some $$, never got a response on that one. <sigh> oh well.

            a month later

I was in FGI since maybe the beginning (1999?). It was a lot of fun in the beginning but, like a many things in life and, in my opinion, it didn't evolve the right way and adapt to user needs.
I met some really nice people both in the forums and in real life through the site.
But, it's a well know law of nature, either you adapt or you disappear.
There was also GolfDope which I liked.
Let's all hope that GolfBuzz learns from these examples and will survive longer.

Well, a shift back to Australia from the States, I go to find FGI and it was goneski ... Glad to have found familiar people here.

Just played my first rounds after getting some major surgery, and glad to be back swinging. Of course, now I have to go find some new clubs ... 🙂
