'Twas a nice fall day today here in the Lehigh Valley. I think we might've gotten into the 70's. Partly sunny, gentle breeze. Typical fall weather expected through the weekend, low-mid 60's and that'll probably linger until the last week of the month. Once November hits, anything goes.
I've got some stuff I need to get done over the next three weeks. Power wash the deck, clean out some junk in the garage and haul it off to the dump, and do some final lawn work with mulching leaves, trimming brush away from the fence in the backyard, etc. Oh, also need to replace a split-rail fence post. Plenty to do yet before the snow starts flying.
I noticed the two Hibiscus plants I have are no longer producing those beautiful red bulbs. Trying to decide if I want to get rid of them or bring them into the house for the winter. If I didn't have dogs I'd probably keep 'em. Otherwise they'll create yet another thing the mutts can make a mess with. They're not worth the hassle.
