Decided to take a different approach to regaining my golf swing. 7 months since the hip replacement, 4 1/2 months playing and at best my swing is butt ugly, consistency is illusive, but my short game has allowed me to score in the low 80s.
Figure I would need to play partial shots, play more strategically, etc. First round today was good, 80 from the senior tees (5887). After the first three holes, it was routine, boring, didn't make putt outside of 4 feet, just bogeys and pars. As the round progressed my swing started be come consistent, effortless and I was actually liking my swing. This might actually be a good path to a better game.
