No ranting nor raving against the USGA. What happened?

    azgreg With a whole lot of help from Mother Nature, I'd say. Had there not been cool days and cloudy skies, and some moisture in the air, all hell would have broke loose out there.
    I was shocked as to how easily everyone got out of the rough, without penalty. I actually disliked watching the tournament; no excitement, until the last few holes on Sunday.

      They stated they were prepared to syringe the greens if needed. With more wind they probably would have their target score for the winner: par.
