What did you buy this week?
Ho'd some stuff today at a PIAS. Nice Cleveland RTX 588 SW, found a Nike SQ 7 iron in NEW condition for $20 to replace the one that my grandson lost (), a MINTY set of Tommy Armour 855 Silver Scots, 3-SW with new grips, and a nice Cally X-Hot 5w.
Dude… 30 years old… you got your moneys worth. Although expensive, a new one will be more efficient… you’re due, I’d have to agree with the wife on that one.
Two Encore azalea bushes that I just spent an hour digging holes, prepping fill, and planting. Went to get my wheelbarrow and had to battle to the death with a large black widow spider that had taken up residence in it. Then had to use my reciprocating saw to cut through a bunch of roots from the foundation bushes that used to be in the planting location while digging the holes.

I hate spiders........
johnnydoom who won that battle?? Is it still you? Or the spider??

Walterjn I’m still here. Also saw a large wolf spider, but he wasn’t squatting in any of my equipment, so he got a pass. I am disappointed that he didn’t do his job and get rid of the black widow for me though.
johnnydoom good to know that you have not been replaced by a spider!!
Used 9/10 TE Exotics C721 16.5* 3 wood (aka 4 wood) with Fuji Air Speeder…

sdandrea1 You don't. But I did like your post about hating spiders.
I don't hate spiders, but do have a personal vendetta against the black widows I find on or near the house. Although I won the fight yesterday, I lost to one several years ago. I was trimming a bush and felt something bite the inside of my forearm. Looked down just in time to see the red hourglass crawling under a leaf on the bush. Didn't have a huge reaction to it. I felt a little queasy for awhile and honestly think that was more me being worried about the bite than it was a neurological reaction. The bite site itself looked like a big mosquito bite with two punctures, but turned dark after a day or two and stayed that way for a couple of weeks. No real serious issues either neurologically or in tissue damage though. Out in the wild I'll leave them alone, but if I see one close by home it's gonna die. Love many kinds of spiders though, especially wolf spiders, jumping spiders, and garden spiders.

All spiders are evil.........
ode Found one of those last year. I think it was the same color and finish. I played it for about 20 holes until I lost it and it wasn't a bad ball as far as play characteristics go, being pretty good all around, but not particularly great at anything, I didn't have any trouble finding it in the fairway or rough, but it eventually made its way to the bottom of a pond.
My wife bought some matte blue Maxflis and I had an impossible time seeing those for some reason. I couldn't even spot them in the middle of the fairway without intense focus.
johnnydoom the Vice Pro is a good ball.....same ball as the Maxfli Tour.....similar to the 2020 OnCore Elixir (same cover but the Elixir is lower compression then the VP and MT). Suits my game well.
My buddy bought a dozen of VP on Amazon and what they sent was the robins egg blue........impossible to follow in the air and hard to locate.from any distance.
