Typhoon I can see how easy being a Ho is. When I bought the TW grind wedge I also saw a SLDR 430 driver that I easily could have pulled the trigger on. The 430 is a beast.
Jelopster Eguller I’d have no problem playing the R…if they were over length! Plus I’ve got no business playing this much of a player’s club so I view these more as a project set I can tinker with for the next year or so before I play ‘em . I’m seeing colored grips, bespoke ferrules…maybe even some black apollo shafts!
Weirfan Helped my Pro out with some stuff so he cut me a good deal on a new set of 2023 , T300 irons, 4-pw. Also tossed in a dozen new ProV1X left dash. Saved over $500 so WTF not, lol
mulegolf Eguller My Honma XP-1 arrived yesterday. Quick service. I was disappointed in the club. It has scratches and smudges on the top (crown) of the clubhead. I called Global and explained that for a "very good" description I would have accepted a few scratches, etc. on the face or the bottom of the club but I couldn't use the club looking at those scratches every time I set up to hit a drive. The woman I was talking to checked and said that they had one more in stock and we agreed that I would pay for that one and would be refunded for the first one when I returned it. I may have been able to polish out most of the scratches and smudges with glanz wachs and I still may try if the new one isn't better when it arrives. I'll certainly return one of them. As far as pictures, it's not likely as I have never been able to get the pictures from my phone to this site. I guess I don't know how. I may try if I have time but a lot of things are going on here right now and I may not have the time.
backinit mulegolf I stopped buying used clubs online unless I can see pics of exactly what I'm buying. Very good condition shouldn't be sky marks or looking like it's been dragged behind a golf cart.

I haven't purchased anything from GG in many years until last week. Years ago GG had a reputation of if you didn't select "excellent or minty" condition rating it was a crap shoot on what your got. The XP-1 I received yesterday was rated excellent and it was and could have been rated as minty. Did the rep tell you what the rating was on the one they are sending you?
Sparky Picked up a 3-sw set of TM 320 irons at a garage sale. Mainly for the Innovative Graphite Comp35 graphite shafts. Clubs were quite a bit longer than standard, so should make a good set of pullouts.
Rickochet backinit I stopped buying used clubs online unless I can see pics of exactly what I'm buying. I have had great success buying from CallawayPreowned over the years. Most time the clubs are underrated and some have even come still in plastic. Great customer service and return policy as well.
mulegolf Rickochet Did the rep tell you what the rating was on the one they are sending you? She didn't say and on the form she emailed to me it is difficult determine. They list both drivers, the one I'm returning and the one they are replacing it with. It also lists the headcover I ordered. Either the new driver of the headcover are listed as excellent, but I can't tell for sure which one they are referring to. I hope it's the driver but I guess I'll have to wait 'til I see it to be sure.
sdandrea1 mulegolf You were just unlucky. I bought 2, one listed as Excellent (and was MINT), the other listed as Very Good, and I after I cleaned the crown with car wax, it's MINT. I hope your replacement is better!
mulegolf sdandrea1 I should know tomorrow. It looks like it should be here then. I got the headcover yesterday and that looks perfect.
backinit sdandrea1 Steve, let me know how these work for you. One of my buddies is looking for a lowish spinning distance ball. I thought these might work for him.
sdandrea1 backinit Steve, let me know how these work for you. One of my buddies is looking for a lowish spinning distance ball. I thought these might work for him. Will do. This is the replacement for the D2 Feel which was my favorite TF 2-piece ball. Distance ball with soft feel.
sdandrea1 backinit Steve, let me know how these work for you The TF Hammer Control= D2 Feel. Soft feel, good distance. Great value!
fatshot sdandrea1 Will do. This is the replacement for the D2 Feel which was my favorite TF 2-piece ball. Distance ball with soft feel. A great ball for us with lower swing-speeds, IMO.....I still have some D2 Feels left, but have already bought some Hammer Control for when the older version runs out!
johnnydoom A "Theodore Racing" T-shirt for my son Theo. I saw Adam Richman (Man vs. Food) wearing one on an episode and got curious and looked it up. Apparently Theodore Racing is, or was, a Formula One racing team set up by a rich Hong Kong guy named Teddy Yip. Don't know if they still race, but they still sell the merch.
