Spuzz candukid A new laser with slope. so you have a new laser and a new GPS watch? Overkill! LOLOLOLOLOL Must be a new SL marketing angle 😉
Par4QC candukid that package job is horrendous. Lucky it didn’t snap. I was just thinking that this may be the best way to ship clubs, esp. drivers. The box is not going to be opened and robbed. It let's the assholes at UPS know what they are dealing with; if they even have mental functions when handling such items.
Par4QC sdandrea1 The driver is nothing. I just wanted you to be jealous of the bag, which will skyrocket in price after next Feb.. 😁
ptjn1201 I've gotten a couple of clubs from EBay packed like that. I was alarmed the first time, but it was fine. And all that bubble wrap -- was great for packing up a few clubs that I sold.
sdandrea1 ptjn1201 I've gotten a couple of clubs from EBay packed like that. I shipped a stand bag like that once. I covered it from the top and the bottom with heavy duty leaf yard bags. Ran tape around the circumference in 3 places to tighten up the bags and clear taped the shipping label on. Post Office was fine with it,
Sparky I'm shocked that type of club packaging is OK. I might have to try that and see how it goes. If the shaft had any value, I'd still put PVC piping around it, but I guess that could still work in the big bag arrangement. Now that the 48x6x6 boxes are getting insane shipping prices, this might be the way to go.
Par4QC Sparky Now that the 48x6x6 boxes are getting insane shipping prices, Prices for that size should not be 'insane'. It is under the 'balloon' sizing.
mulegolf Rickochet I've played in a lot of tournaments in the past years and never before seeing your post have I seen or heard of another golfer using green. I like it.
Rickochet mulegolf I've played in a lot of tournaments in the past years and never before seeing your post have I seen or heard of another golfer using green. I like it. Most sharpie packs contain red, black and blue. I have a funny story. I put two green dots in the dimples above the ball name on both sides. I was playing years ago on a muni and had my green marks on my ball. I sprayed my drive in the right rough. I find it and getting ready to hit a guy is walking up yelling and waving for me to make sure it was my ball since he hit one there also going the other way in the same rough. I told him it was a Topflite Freak with two green dots and he said that's what he was hitting. We look around more and find another one about 15 yards away. Come to find out he was a few holes behind us and he had found a ball I lost on the front nine and had put it in play, so both balls were identical except for the numbers. What is the probability of that happening? 😛
johnnydoom Etonic Stabilite golf shoes for the boy, and a 60 degree Tour Edge Hot Launch ladies wedge for the wife. Nothing for me🙁
Sparky Today's find was a 2-PW set of Ping Eye2 irons for $20, blue dot. Heads are in great shape. I need to find a deal on a set of taper graphite shafts now. Add in last weeks BeCu Eye2 LW and you can call me Steve.
sdandrea1 Sparky Add in last weeks BeCu Eye2 LW and you can call me Steve Nice buy! My Eye 2s (with graphite) are back in the bag.....a few of them anyway. I hand tapered some UST Mamiya shafts.
sdandrea1 I traded in my HUGE Sun Mountain cart bag. It looked weird with just 8 or even 10 clubs and I like my shit compact. Got a nice deal on a new Mizuno stand bag.
Par4QC sdandrea1 I like my shit compact Me too. Never understood all the hoopla around Kim K. myself.
Par4QC A dozen balls and a bag of tees. One of the more stupid things I've done as it is raining(again) and the temps have only been around 60*. That, and I have around 9 dozen balls now. But...they 'were there'. 😅
sdandrea1 Par4QC I'm scraping the bottom of the ball barrel in VA. We leave for the south in 12 days and I have lots of balls there, so I have resisted even tho they were there. 😂
