Saw him 43 years ago (1976) right around this time at the old Patriots Stadium in Foxboro MA., along with Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles.

A jacket and a pullover for my wife from RockBottom, a pair of shoes and some headcovers for me. And I was informed that my purchase of over $30 would get me a free subscription to both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine -- I hope they tack them on to my current free subscriptions.

I once got them for 6-7 yrs. off a 'free' subscription.

I've been getting both of the magazines for years. My subscription will run out, but a month or two later, I have another free year, even when not buying from RBG. But I will plug RBG as being great for shirts, sweaters, and jackets for ladies -- I've been buying my wife stuff from them for years from their clearances. I'll almost always click on the emails from them and see what's in clearance. I end up buying stuff maybe 3-4 times a year, never spending much either.

Well, I've tried the High Heat driver a couple of times now. The Cobra Matrix White Tie shaft works better than the Fujikura Vista Pro that it came with, but the net result is that it's not taking the place of my TM M2 in my bag. It was quit easy to hit but it's shorter (much shorter) than my Taylor M2 driver. It's at least 10-15 yards shorter. It a nice looking club with all the blue, silver and white, I know Spuzz would love it. I've come to like the High Heat 3 wood though. It's very easy to hit and once I actually looked up the specs (the head is 18 and it measures at 42.25" long) I realized that it is much more a 5 wood than a 3 wood. That's where it fits in my bag too. I get 5 wood length with it. Shots leap into the air and I can hit over trees that I could never hope to get over with my Taylor M2 HL 3 wood (which should be called a 4 wood as it's a 4 wood loft of 16.5).

Even tho I’ve already posted that I bought some Taylormade M5 irons, I finally had a chance to play them yesterday after waiting 3 weeks or so to receive them. I initially ordered them with KBS Tour 90 shafts, then discovered that they were in fact FST 90 shafts after closer inspection and quick emails to Taylormade and FST. So, I canceled that order and put in another order with KBS Tour shafts in R flex, therefore the wait. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with FST 90’s, but I don’t wanna pay premium dollar for discount shafts. Anyway, I played them yesterday and I couldn’t be more thrilled. These irons are the real deal. Mid toplines, low offset, modern lofts, and still plenty of forgiveness. Oh yeah, these bastages are long to boot. We’ll see how long the honeymoon lasts......
